Objectives

Desktop Publishing course develops knowledge of designs or creates graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.

Outcome of Course

After completing the course the student will learn :

• Create, format, edit text file, document file and BMP file by using different Accessories of Windows
• Create, edit, format and develop page combining text and graphics using page makeup Adobe InDesign application software
• Create Illustrations and Graphics using Adobe Illustrator
• Create, format, edit and develop images using Adobe Photoshop software
• Draw, edit, format and develop graphics design using Corel draw application software
• Establish Requirements for Publishing Content
